Farmed by the Halsey family since the 1640s, this 100-acre property is the oldest organic farm in NYS, and is biodynamic, too. The roadside farm stand offers over 300 varieties of vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers and seedlings, and other products made by local artisans. Weekend pony rides and fall farm tours.

They grow over 300 varieties of certified organic vegetables, herbs, berries, and flowers as well as many types of herb and vegetable starter plants for your garden. Open 7 days a week 9am to 5pm. Special Events: CSA memberships available in Huntington, Brooklyn, Queens and Water Mill.

Prospect Lefferts Gardens Community Supported Agriculture is a partnership between people in our Brooklyn neighborhood and Woodbridge Farm in Connecticut. In the spring, members purchase a share in the farm. This gives the farmers much needed financing for purchasing seeds and other supplies. In return, the farm delivers a portion of the harvest to members every week throughout the growing season, from late May through early November. Members get a variety of vegetables throughout the season, all organic and freshly picked. PLG CSA is one of over 50 Community Supported Agriculture groups in New York City. The farm is family owned, certified organic, and committed to pursuing sustainable agriculture.

Woodbridge Farm uses advanced biodynamic holistic methods of farming, which provide high nutritional values to pastures and crops by re-enlivening the soil and following the natural cycles of the earth.
